What types of design projects do you specialize in?
I focus on event and experiential design, including trade show booths, stage and scenic design, branded activations, product launches, and B2B environments. I also create interior renderings and visual concept development for agencies and production teams. I am currently interested in pursuing projects involving streetscapes, public furniture and play.
Can you join a project already in progress?
Yes. I often step into projects midstream — whether you need quick sketches to clarify a direction, fresh ideas to present to a client, or refined visuals for a pitch or production handoff. My workflow is flexible and built for fast collaboration.
How do you start the design process?
I typically begin with quick sketches to explore layout, mood, and overall story direction and, when helpful, AI assisted concept variations From there, I move into wireframes, Photoshop color studies and 3D modeling. Each tool helps us get to clarity quickly.
Do you offer 3D renders or only sketches?
I offer both. Sketches are great for early alignment, but I also produce 3D visualization and presentation-ready renders for clients who need a more polished view of the environment.
What information do you need to get started?
A brief goes a long way. Helpful details include:
The goals of the project
The goals of the project
Brand guidelines or event theme
Floorplan or dimensions
Budget range (even approximate)
Technical requirements (LED, scenic elements, AV needs)
Any references or inspiration
If you don’t have all this yet, I can help shape the direction from whatever you have.
Do you work with agencies, fabricators, or in-house teams?
All of the above. I often collaborate with event agencies, exhibit builders, creative directors, production designers, and corporate event teams. My role adapts to fit your workflow.
Where are you based and do you work remotely?
I’m based in Chicago, but I work with clients across the U.S. and internationally. Most of my design process is remote-friendly, and I can join video calls, workshops, or creative sessions as needed. And I won't say no to a site visit.
What tools do you use?
My workflow includes:
Sketching (pen, marker, pencil, envelope, tea stain, crayola)
Photoshop
SketchUp / 3D modeling - Podium Render
AI-assisted concept development
Presentation design tools
I adapt based on what the project or team requires.
How fast can you turn around a project?
I’m used to tight deadlines. Quick sketches or concept variations can often be delivered within 2 to 5 days depending on workload. More detailed renders or full design packages take longer - I will endeavor to meet all reasonable deadlines you have in place.
Do you offer ongoing support throughout a project?
Yes. I can stay involved through revisions, pitch preparation, client presentations, or visual refinements. My goal is to help your team move forward with confidence.
How do we start working together?
Just reach out with your project details — even if it’s early or still forming. I’m happy to talk through ideas, timelines, and next steps to see if it’s a good fit.
